Good Morning Linda!
Good morning my friend Linda
this poem's especially for you
'cause while I come here everyday
it's all because of you.
Even in my darkest mood
you have taught me well
how to smile and rise above
even when I feel like I'm in Hell.
You've taught me perserverance
and how to rise above
and I thank God everyday
for sending me this dove'.
Thinking of You
A peacock with it's tail so bright
and it's head held high
would like to let you know
it's ok to cry.
So much has happened in your world
and you held your head so high
now it's time to lean on others
So go ahead, give it a try.
We know and see and understand
we love and share and reach
that's what makes us friends
no boundries have you breeched.
So I was thinking about you today
and wanted you to know
I think you are a great great person
and I hope our friendship will grow.

In Memory of Columbia
Seven souls dedicated their time
to figure it out
exploration was so fine.
But something went wrong
terribly awry
how, where, what
we even asked why.
But these special people
yes, all seven
now explore
deep in Heaven.
Saddened we are
because we all did care
stop for a moment
Please say a prayer.

War Time
In the days
before I was born
when war was here
and people did scorn.
The women made rivets
the men , they fought
and they had to be careful
of what they bought.
War came in numbers
first One and then Two
and then the Gulf War
Viet Nam came due.
Now we are looking
and not looking back
war is impending
it looks with Iraq.
Sadam is a mad man
Quadafi knows what for
and don't they all know
they won't win this war.
But pray for the peace
cause death is last
let's not repeat history
but learn from the past.

My Heart to Yours
I watched the video
and I read
the news still hurts
and anger's in my head.
God says let go
and move on
but I hurt for my friend
as day turns to dawn.
It's just not fair
this just can't be
as God answers softly
and says to me.
Tragic it is
but know to take it in stride
for Angel Tina
now sits by my side.
An answer will open
case will close
but Tina will always
be everyone's rose.

May Our Prayers Be Heard
Now we've seen the battle
and still we stand so strong
our men and women fight
no matter just how long.
For there is something in them
that gives to them their fight
as a group they gather
and we all unite.
Sadam thought he was winning
as the ground we gain
we all know he's evil
past the point of being insane.
So together we shall fight
our military and what's more
United we shall stand
and then we'll end this war.
For there is nothing stronger
hear me when I say
We are united
because we are the U S of A.
May all our prayers be heard to
all our military
wherever they may be.

Losing A Child - Remember Tina
I met a woman named Linda
she let me into her heart
and now of my life
she plays a big part.
She shared with me
something so brief
as we became closer
I shared her grief.
I too lost a child
but none so bad
Linda's my friend
and I feel her sad.
Who gave you the right
to say grief has to end
you've never lost and
aren't on the mend .
Grief simply means
your heart will repair
but ask us to forget
well, that isn't fair.
So next time you meet
someone who's sad
tell them it's ok to grieve
they will be glad.
For you don't just give birth
raise your child, then let go
and you won't understand
if you've never been there...we know.

You Are a Part of Me
Just because you went away
I say this with a sigh
I looked for you and then at night
I would sit and cry.
But I was surrounded by many friends
and they would pick me up
set me in a chair
and put some tea inside my cup.
Then they would go out looking
and nothing they would find
I was so distraught
thought I'd lose my mind.
But the love I have for you
is what kept me strong
I knew I would have an answer
before so very long.
Now I have that answer
and my heart is still in pain
but not as badly as before
I know I'll see you again.
We share so much together
a daughter and her Mother
I love you so very much
this pain .....there is no other.
So Tina angel you just shine
and my heart will heal
but one thing remains so true
my heart will always feel.

From My Heart
How does God guide me
to great people like you,
I've learned so much
from you, that's true.
You've taught me strength
shown me love
and God has blessed me
from above.
I know that someday
we will meet
and it will be
on angel's feet.
We will hug and cry
we'll laugh and smile
and I know the wait
will be worthwhile.
For you are a friend
but more than this
you are in my heart
a wonderful sis.
I LOVE YOU!

Remember This Easter
As Jesus died for our sins
and then arose day three
he also came and taught a lesson
for me to share with thee.
He never was alone
as his physical body fell
and now when he arises
with him is a sweet angel.
This Easter is very special
as another angel sat with pride
Angel Tina joined his family
and sits right by his side.
While your family here on Earth
will gather for the day
the sun shall shine so birght
especially your way.
For Tina wants to show you
that Jesus died for all
and Tina will be watching
as on family you will call.
Jesus is the reason
always has and always will
watch o'er every family
happiness gives him a thrill.
For He's our Heavenly Father
and he wanted me to say
I love all my children
and I arose for you today.
HAPPY EASTER my dear dear friend
with all my love Debi

Happy Birthday Tina
May 5, 2003
Happy Birthday to Tina
as we say good morning
and open our eyes.
The sun is so bright
seems more so today
that's because Tina
is shining our way.
She knows it's her birthday
and while she can't really be here
she is very close
in our hearts she is dear.
So we celebrate Tina
on the day of her birth
she may not be here
with us down on Earth...
But the sun shines much brighter
and the sky is so blue
trust me my friend
Tina's right there with you.
So celebrate greatly
as you know Tina would too
and Happy Birthday Tina
this one's for you !
Love from Debi
Dear Linda,
You inspire me to think and God to write. I can almost feel Tina's presence everytime
I talk to you. It is almost eerie but comforting too, as if she is here to let me know so I
can tell you she is ok. I just know I feel God's presence everyday and those closest to me, that are gone I feel their spirits. I cannot explain and have quit trying.
If they are near, I just accept it .
Wanted to tell you I've named my rose bush My Tina Tree. My mother in law was
here yesterday to check on my Tina Tree to make sure it would grow properly.
Once it starts to grow and get roses on it, I will send you a picture to show you
how gorgeous ( like Tina) the flower is . And now ... my newest Tina piece:
TINA'S TREE
I met a girl named Linda
who seemed just a bit sad
I forget how we met
but now I know I'm glad.
She shared with me a story
about her daughter Tina too
and somehow I felt closer
as good friends usually do.
So we shared it all
through good times and the bad
I virtually held her hand
through happy and the sad.
And still it brought us closer
I still stand by her side
she is such a strong one
my friend, I brag with pride.
Then I got this idea
as no is an answer... I just can't
I love roses so I did
a Tina Tree did plant.
I water it everyday
and pray so hard at night
Dear God make this one grow
to remind me of what is bright.
So as each day goes by
the Tina tree will grow
as a reminder of my friend
and I wanted her to know.

You Are Special!
When I asked for a friend
God gave me two
one was the Bible
the other was you.
When I asked if he minded
if I just write
he gave me this gift
and I hold to it tight.
When I asked God again
if I ask for too much
he said I returned it all
and such.
So I take my gift from God
and I share it with you
'cause we will be friends
until time passes through.

I Can Feel it Too
As I sit here this morning
I feel your pain
and I virtually hug you
again and again.
I know that you miss her
we know she's not here
but really my dear friend
she is very near.
I sense her each day
as I do my part
to help you ease the
pain in your heart.
With my planting of flowers
and my Tina tree
it will remind us
how friends are to be.
It's ok to cry
upon my big shoulder
and Lord I ask you
her burdens get older.
One day without knowing
she will arise
never forgetting but
being so wise.
Friends are forever
and I'll do my part
to help mend my friend's
so broken heart.
With you forever and always
Love Debi
Letting God In
Who said God doesn't
fill our lives
make us good husbands
and wonderful wives.
Who said God isn't fulfilling
and looks in our heart
He does fulfill
and tried out his part.
Who said God doesn't work
from end to end
and give us that special
one person, one friend.
I never felt better
'til I let Our Father in
I gave it all up
and gave Him my sin.
But the best thing He did
was look over and bend
and then He sent you
my forever friend.

Sweet Dreams
Now I write my rhyme at night
but hope to see you
at first day light.
I miss you truly
you know I do
cause you're a good friend
through and through.
So now I lay me down to sleep
I asked the Lord
an eye on you to keep.
Protect her, guide her
and love do send
for she is truly
my good friend.
Sweet Dreams!
