Memories of Tina

The service was lovely, the prayers so inspiring
Though how this could happen, all minds still inquiring
For nearly 3 years we all hoped and prayed
Now loved ones encircle the place she'll be layed.
The family mourns as close friends gather near
To say farewell, to a woman held dear.
A mother's tear trickles gently down
But she wears a faint smile instead of a frown.
Great faith in our Lord, though His reason unclear
Puts the smile on her face, along with that tear.
For her mother knows, in her heart and her soul
That her baby is happy, and safe, and whole.
Living on in memories of happy days
Remember all her charming ways
She danced on our hearts like a ballerina
Rest in peace now, dear sweet Tina.

Her Spirit
 Her spirit moves wind chimes
When the air is still
And fills the room
With fragrance of lily

Her eyes Still seen
Perfectly happy With Nothing

Her spirit sets
The waterpipes a-humming
Fat lektronic force be with ya sound

Her spirit talks to me
Through animals
Beautiful creature Lay with me

Bird that calls my name
Insists that is here
And nothing Left to fear

Bright white squirrel
Foot of tree Fixes me
With innocent gaze

Her spirit talks to me

I Will Lend You
A Little Time

I will lend you for a little time,
A special child of mine, He said
For you to love the while she lives,
And mourn for when she's dead.
It may be six or seven years,
Or twenty-two or three.
But will you, till I call her back,
Take care of her for Me?
She'll bring her charms to gladden you,
And should her stay be brief.
You'll have her precious memories,
As solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there,
I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over,
In search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.
Now will you give her all your love,
Nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call,
To take her home again?
I fancied that I heard them say,

"Dear Lord, Thy will be done!"
For all the joy Thy shall bring,
The risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter her with tenderness,
We'll love her while we may,
And for the happiness we'll know,
Forever grateful stay."
But should the angels call for her,
Much sooner than we've planned.
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
And try to understand

I Am Not Gone

I am not gone, I am changed.
Have faith and please believe me.
God did not take me away from you,
He split the skies and received me.

Now....

I'm an echo in your laughter,
a reflection in your tears,
an extra thread of strength
to help you overcome your fears

I'm an added ray of sunshine,
more joy for you to share,
a fragrance of the life you live.
Wherever you are - I am there.
