Another Christmas in Heaven

Another Christmas without you honey, another holiday season you are missed

We made it through another year, but still yearning to have you here.

Each year gets a little bit softer, but perhaps that's because

I know it's one year closer to when I will see you again.

I wonder what Christmas in Heaven is like, as I dream and I wander far from earth

Catching a glimpse of the heavenly choir as they sing of the Christ Child's birth.

I envision all the angels there as they join in this blessed event

And among this gathering I see your face, spending Christmas in Heaven with grace.

Though your physical being may be gone, I know your spirit does live on

I see your smile so cheerful and bright, in every twinkling Christmas light.

My darling, one day I will be there, no Christmas on earth can compare

With all the happiness and glory I will witness in Heaven so fair.

I know how much you love Christmas, with all our loved ones gathered round

I'm so glad I hold these memories, for with them I hold part of you.

Yes, now I see why you loved it; and oh, what a joy it will be

When me and our loved ones are with you, to share in the glories you see.

So for now I'll try to dry the tears and join with loved ones dear

To celebrate this Christmas time, for I know that, in my heart, you're always here.

I'M SPENDING CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS THIS YEAR

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below

With tiny lights, like heaven's stars reflecting on the snow

The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tears.

For I'm spending Christmas with Jesus this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,

But the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.

For I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring.

For it is beyond description to hear an angel sing.

I can't tell you of the splendor, or the peace here in this place.

Can you just imagine Christmas with our Savior, face to face?

I'll ask Him to light your spirit, as I tell Him of your love.

So then pray one for another as you lift your eyes above.

Please let your hearts be joyful, and let your spirits sing.

For I'm spending Christmas in heaven, and I'm walking with the KING.
